Homeschool Fox is a web-based platform that helps homeschooling families:
- Track educational activities and hours
- Monitor progress toward state requirements
- Generate reports and transcripts
- Plan lessons with AI assistance (premium feature)
3. Account Registration
To use Homeschool Fox, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Homeschool Fox only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Upload malicious content or code
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service
5. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you create in Homeschool Fox (activities, descriptions, student information, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Free Trial
New accounts include a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. A valid payment method is required to start your trial. You will not be charged until your trial ends.
Premium Plan
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. After your trial ends, your subscription automatically begins unless you cancel beforehand.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:
- You retain access to premium features until the end of your billing period
- Your account becomes read-only (you can view but not add new data)
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods (except as noted below)
Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new premium subscriptions. If you're not satisfied within 30 days of your first premium payment, contact us for a full refund.
7. AI Features
Premium users have access to AI-powered features. By using these features:
- You understand that AI-generated content may not always be accurate
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI suggestions
- AI features are subject to usage limits as described in your plan
- We use OpenAI to process requests; their terms also apply to AI features
8. Intellectual Property
Homeschool Fox and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our Service without our written permission.
9. Third-Party Links
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these external sites.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOMESCHOOL FOX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Homeschool Fox and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
- We may delete your data after a reasonable period
- Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or class action.
