Calendar Sync

Sync your homeschool activities with your favorite calendar app.

Setting Up Calendar Sync

1. Go to Settings
2. Find Calendar Integration
3. Click Generate Calendar Link
4. Copy the iCal URL

Adding to Your Calendar App

Google Calendar

1. Open Google Calendar
2. Click the + next to "Other calendars"
3. Select From URL
4. Paste the iCal link
5. Click Add calendar

Apple Calendar

1. Open Calendar app
2. Go to File → New Calendar Subscription
3. Paste the iCal link
4. Click Subscribe

Outlook

1. Open Outlook Calendar
2. Click Add calendar → Subscribe from web
3. Paste the iCal link
4. Click Import

What Gets Synced

Your calendar will show:
- All logged activities
- Activity titles and times
- Subject information

Note: Calendar sync is one-way. Activities created in other apps won't appear in Homeschool Fox.

Refreshing the Calendar

Calendars typically refresh every few hours. To force a refresh:
- Google Calendar: May take up to 24 hours
- Apple Calendar: Right-click calendar → Refresh

Regenerating Your Link

If you need a new calendar link:
1. Go to Settings
2. Click Regenerate Calendar Link

Note: This will break existing calendar subscriptions. You'll need to re-add the new link.
