Activities

Log, organize, and edit your homeschool activities — the core record that drives every report and goal.

8 articles

Activities are how you track learning hours in Homeschool Fox. Every report, goal, and progress chart is built from your activity log, so this is the section you'll use the most.

In this section

  • Logging activities — the basics: title, students, subject, start/end times, description.
  • Recurring activities — set up daily, weekly, or custom schedules once and let them repeat.
  • Activity templates — save an activity you log often and start new ones from it in a tap.
  • Calendar view — month, week, and day views; drag to reschedule.
  • Plan view — a weekly planning board: drag activities between days, park ideas in an Unscheduled column, and shuffle across weeks.
  • Attachments — attach photos, worksheets, or PDFs to an activity for portfolio reports.
  • Importing activities — bring in a CSV or spreadsheet from another tracker.

Faster ways to log

  • Voice input — open Kit and dictate what you did; see Kit voice input.
  • AI parsing — paste a paragraph describing the day and Kit extracts activities; see activity parsing.
  • Lump-sum hours — record a block of hours when you don't want to log activity-by-activity; see lump-sum hours.
