Recurring Activities
Set up activities that repeat on a schedule.

Set up recurring activities for lessons that happen on a regular schedule, like daily math or weekly piano lessons.
Creating a Recurring Activity
- Go to Activities and click Add Activity
- Fill in the activity details
- Check Make this recurring
- Select the recurrence pattern:
- Daily
- Weekly (select which days)
- Custom interval
- Set the end date or number of occurrences
- Save the activity
Managing Recurring Activities
Edit a recurring activity
When you edit a recurring activity, you choose which occurrences the change applies to:
- Just this one — changes only the occurrence you opened.
- This and all future ones — changes this occurrence and every later one in the series.
- The whole series — changes every occurrence, past and future.
Delete Recurring Activities
When deleting a recurring activity, you'll be asked what to remove:
- Delete this instance only - Removes just this single occurrence. The rest of the series continues as scheduled.
- Delete all instances - Removes the parent activity and all generated occurrences. This cannot be undone.
Viewing Recurring Activities
Recurring activities show a repeat icon in the calendar and activity list. Click on any instance to see it's part of a series.
Grades and recurring activities
Recurring activities can't track grades or credits. A repeating activity is one schedule shared across many sessions, so a grade or credit entered on it would repeat across every occurrence — inflating GPA and credit totals.
Track grades on a one-off (non-repeating) activity instead, or manage course grades and credits under Grades. When an activity repeats, the grades section is hidden, and any existing grade data on it is left out of GPA and transcript calculations.
Tips
- Use recurring activities for consistent subjects like daily reading time
- You can still mark attendance differently for each instance
- Edit individual instances when something changes (field trip instead of regular class)
