Recurring Activities

Set up recurring activities for lessons that happen on a regular schedule, like daily math or weekly piano lessons.

Creating a Recurring Activity

1. Go to Activities and click Add Activity
2. Fill in the activity details
3. Check Make this recurring
4. Select the recurrence pattern:
   • Daily
   • Weekly (select which days)
   • Custom interval
5. Set the end date or number of occurrences
6. Save the activity

Managing Recurring Activities

Edit All Instances

When you edit a recurring activity, you can choose to:

• Edit this instance only - Change just this occurrence
• Edit all future instances - Apply changes going forward

Delete Recurring Activities

When deleting, you can choose to:

• Delete this instance only - Remove just this occurrence
• Delete all instances - Remove the entire recurring series

Viewing Recurring Activities

Recurring activities show a repeat icon in the calendar and activity list. Click on any instance to see it's part of a series.

Tips

• Use recurring activities for consistent subjects like daily reading time
• You can still mark attendance differently for each instance
• Edit individual instances when something changes (field trip instead of regular class)
