Set up your school year to match your homeschool schedule.

Setting Your School Year Start

1. Go to Settings
2. Find School Year Start
3. Select the month your school year begins
4. Save changes

Common start dates:
- August/September - Traditional school year
- January - Calendar year tracking
- July - Year-round homeschooling

How School Year Affects Tracking

Your school year start date determines:
- When yearly goals reset
- How progress is calculated
- Report date ranges

Transitioning to a New School Year

When your school year ends:
1. New student goals are created automatically
2. Previous year's data is preserved
3. Progress tracking starts fresh

You can view previous years' data anytime in Reports.
